As a Commercial Product Manager at Deutsche Telekom AG, you will play a key role in driving the successful operation of our TV propositions across Europe. Your primary focus will be on the roll-out, performance management, and enhancement of these propositions with our new and existing partnerships.
Key Responsibilities:- Propositions Operation: Ensure the successful operation of TV propositions from commercial sites, including regular performance management and managerial reporting. Manage monthly invoicing processes between partners, Deutsche Telekom, and national companies.
- Proposition Development: Engage with the head of TV propositions to develop new propositions, including market analysis, definition of the 4Ps, customer segmentation, competitive positioning, pricing, and revenue forecasting.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with teams across the organization, including TV product teams, Central IT, EU IT teams, national companies, and others to ensure successful execution of propositions.
- Go-to-Market: Develop or support the development of go-to-market concepts together with partners and national companies. Review G2M performance with partners and national companies and support corrective actions.
- Lifecycle Management: Manage the end-to-end commercial lifecycle of TV propositions, ensuring they meet customer needs and business objectives. Continuously evaluate performance against key performance indicators (KPIs) and make data-driven decisions to enhance or retire offerings.
- New Partner and Proposition Onboarding: Lead and coordinate the onboarding of new partners and propositions. Support partner negotiations and contract development.
- Market Analysis: Conduct thorough market research to identify trends, assess competitive threats, and understand evolving customer needs.
- Innovation: Stay up-to-date with technological advancements and regulatory changes that can impact the TV product landscape. Foster a culture of innovation to drive the development of disruptive and differentiated propositions.
- Requirements: Experience or high interest in digital media and TV propositions or content business and an understanding of the technology. Understanding of telco business models (mobile, fixed, and TV) is advantageous. Previous working experience in a telco and knowledge of DT Europe markets would be preferred. 3+ years of experience in project management, with experience in complex, dynamic, and cross-functional environments involving multiple teams across geographies is advantageous. Knowledge in product & service lifecycle management, marketing & go-to-market, rollout-management, partner management, operation, reporting, and financial planning is required. A hands-on and getting things done mindset, strong analytical skills, and experience using data to inform decisions are essential. Excellent presentation and communication skills in English are required, with German not being a must. Advanced knowledge of MS Office is necessary. A degree in business administration (with a focus on international management) or a comparable qualification with sound business management know-how is required.
