Senior Manager in Financial Instruments Accounting

Your Responsibilities
If you aim to leverage your expertise in Financial Instruments Accounting & Valuation to strategically advance our Finance & Risk & Compliance Services, here’s how you can contribute:
- Provide expert consultation to industrial and commercial corporations, as well as energy suppliers, regarding the accurate accounting of both original and derivative financial instruments in accordance with IFRS and HGB.
- Engage in the financial mathematical assessment of derivatives, complex financing arrangements, and equity-based compensation schemes.
- Assist in analyzing contracts in commodity and energy trading, focusing on strategies for price stabilization and their accounting representation.
- Actively participate in evaluating and enhancing the organizational structure and internal control systems within Treasury Accounting.
- Advise on the implementation of IT systems for the valuation and recording of financial transactions.
- Support the adoption of new accounting standards for financial instruments.
- Assist in assessing the accounting implications of methods and processes within Corporate Treasury.
- Serve as an expert during the audit of derivative transactions for international corporations.
- You will be a (Senior) Manager (m/f/d) in Financial Instruments Accounting & Valuation with a successfully completed degree in economics, business mathematics, business informatics, or a related field with a focus on Finance & Accounting.
- You possess a minimum of five years of professional experience in Corporate Treasury, the financial services sector, or auditing.
- You have gained knowledge in the accounting of equity-based compensation (IFRS 2) or financial instruments (IAS 32 & 39, IFRS 7, IFRS 9) and their financial mathematical evaluation, along with practical experience in accounting and valuation of financial instruments within an industrial company.
- You can demonstrate solid knowledge in bookkeeping and consolidated financial statements.
- You have strong skills in financial mathematics and statistics.
- Your proficiency in standard MS Office applications and your fluent command of both German and English are among your strengths.
- Your analytical skills, high motivation to learn, and team-oriented service mindset distinguish you.
- Your strong communication skills and willingness to travel complement your qualifications.
