Retail Sales Professional with Cash Handling Skills

About the Job:
We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Sales Associate to join our team at REWE. As a Sales Associate with cash handling experience, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, operating the cash register, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate the cash register accurately and efficiently, handling customer transactions and managing cash and credit transactions.
- Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving any issues in a professional and courteous manner.
- Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including the sales floor, stockroom, and cash handling area.
- Process customer transactions, handle returns and exchanges, and maintain accurate records of sales and inventory.
- Work collaboratively with other sales associates and store management to achieve sales goals and maintain a positive store atmosphere.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a retail sales environment, preferably with cash handling responsibilities.
- Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers from diverse backgrounds.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with other sales associates and store management.
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
