Electrical Machine Control Intern

We are looking for a highly motivated and skilled intern to support us in the development of software functions for electric machines. As part of our team, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the transition to electromobility and help us solve the exciting challenges that this change entails.

Your Tasks:
  • Design and implement control algorithms for electric drives using higher control engineering approaches
  • Identify and analyze the behavior of controllers and tracks
  • Develop robust control strategies for electric drives
  • Implement sensorless control of electric drives
  • Design and implement observer structures for electric drive control
  • Integrate machine learning algorithms into electric drive control
Requirements:
  • Ongoing university studies in electrical engineering, mechatronics, or a comparable field of study, with a focus on electrical drives and/or control engineering
  • Knowledge of modeling with Matlab/Simulink or a comparable tool
  • High motivation to get involved and shape the future field of e-mobility
  • Very good written and spoken German and English skills
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team

We offer a competitive salary based on our collective wage and salary agreement. Our current monthly salary for this position is EUR 1,012.00.
