About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Energy Economist to join our team as a Senior Performance Manager at E Energy Markets GmbH. As a key member of our organization, you will play a crucial role in driving business growth and success.

Key Responsibilities
  • Performance Management: Develop and implement performance management strategies to drive business growth and improve operational efficiency.
  • Energy Market Analysis: Conduct in-depth analysis of energy markets to identify trends, opportunities, and risks.
  • Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including senior executives, business leaders, and external partners.
  • Reporting and Presentations: Prepare and deliver regular reports and presentations to senior executives and business leaders on performance metrics, market trends, and business opportunities.
Requirements
  • Education: Numerate and analytical university degree in a relevant field, such as economics, finance, or business.
  • Experience: Proven experience in the energy sector, including energy procurement, sales, or trading, as an analyst, energy economist, commercial controller, risk manager, or front officer.
  • Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and develop actionable insights. Proficiency in data visualization tools, such as Power BI or Tableau.
  • Language: Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and German.
