Job Title: Head of EMEA Logistics Operations

At Olympus, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead our EMEA Logistics Operations team. As the Head of EMEA Logistics Operations, you will be responsible for managing our logistics chains, leading our service providers, and ensuring that our products arrive on time in Germany and are delivered to our foreign subsidiaries and customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage logistics chains and lead service providers to ensure timely delivery of products
  • Analyze and organize operational processes worldwide and in the EMEA region
  • Improve processes along the entire logistics chain, including import, warehousing, and distribution
  • Manage and accompany digitalization projects, contribute ideas, and support the team as a professional sparring partner
  • Identify cost optimization potentials and lead corresponding optimization projects
Requirements:
  • Successfully completed studies or comparable training in transport and warehouse logistics
  • Several years of management and professional experience in warehouse and transport logistics, with a solid understanding of relevant laws and regulations
  • Proficiency in German and English, both written and spoken
  • Strong communication skills, teamwork ability, and a sense of responsibility
