Job Description:
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled researcher to join our team at the Institute of Medical Virology at Goethe University. As a PhD researcher in molecular virology, you will work on an innovative ERC-funded research project focused on the systematic functional dissection of RNA-protein complexes at the virus-host interface.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct experimental and computational research in molecular virology
- Collaborate with experimental and computational scientists to achieve project goals
- Develop and implement new methods for analyzing RNA-protein complexes
- Present research findings at international conferences and publish in top-tier journals
Requirements:
- PhD in molecular biology, biochemistry, or a related field
- Strong background in molecular virology and RNA-protein interactions
- Excellent written and spoken English language skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
