Air Freight Sales Support Specialist

Job Title: Agent Sales Support Germany

As a key member of our Sales Support team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our contract rate and customer allocation management processes. Your primary responsibility will be to manage and maintain accurate information in our Cargo Management System, ensuring correct bookings and timely liaison with Sales Managers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Enter contract customer contractual rate requests in the Pricing Tools for review by the Pricing and Route Management Teams
  • Follow up on feedback and liaise with Sales Managers on finalization and price/allocation acceptance by the customer
  • Review contractual rate registration in the Cargo Management System to ensure accurate information for correct bookings
  • Provide customer rate sheets when requested or required
  • Assist in creating and following up of customer contractual agreements (BSA)
  • Enter customer allocation bookings (pre-bookings), monitor self-service allocation bookings (API), and proactively follow up on updates
  • Timely liaison with Sales Managers in case of allocation shortfalls (pre-flight)
  • Structurally measure the performance of customer allocations and provide feedback to Sales Managers (post-flight)
  • Provide ad hoc analysis upon request

Customer Relationship Management (CRM):

  • Timely processing of Customer RFQ uploads as received by Sales Managers
  • Maintain and update the customer database
  • Assist entering relevant Sales information into the system

Sales & Marketing Assistance:

  • Support sales and marketing campaigns
  • General Sales Assistance
  • Responsible for the SMF (small and medium forwarders) customer when required
  • Follow-up communication for Outside Sales
  • Tender Processing (CRM)

Essential Requirements:

  • Apprenticeship or A-level in the logistic sector is required
  • 1-3 years experience in sales and proven record
  • Good knowledge of the German logistic market
  • Responsible and reliable, strong communication skills are required
  • Should be passionate about air freight and eager to take over responsibilities
