The Role of a Data Engineer at Netlight

As a Data Engineer, you will collaborate with colleagues and clients to shape the software products and technical solutions of the future. Your role will be tailored to your strengths and aspirations, allowing you to take ownership of your career trajectory. You will be involved in building innovative products, systems, and technical solutions that address contemporary challenges.

In this position, you will engage in various responsibilities, including:

  • Developing comprehensive data platforms that integrate data warehousing and data lake infrastructures.
  • Implementing ETL/ELT data pipelines for both batch and real-time processing.
  • Designing and executing cutting-edge data products, blending backend and cloud engineering.
  • Advising clients on emerging topics such as data governance, artificial intelligence, and data mesh.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Engineering with a minimum of 2 years of relevant professional experience.
  • Experience as a working student or intern in agile software engineering roles.
  • Proficiency in English, both written and verbal.
  • Willingness to relocate if necessary.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Computer Science or Engineering.
