Operations Finance Analyst

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Analyst to join our EU Strategic Operations team at AMEX. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in driving fiscal accountability, providing visibility into actual performance against plans, and shaping our forecast based on current trends and business needs.
Key Responsibilities- Financial Analysis: Translate high-level business problems into specific questions that can be answered by data-driven analysis.
- Stakeholder Management: Partner with various business stakeholders to identify key factors and requirements for each project, and obtain buy-in or resources for project execution.
- Financial Planning: Serve as a strategic finance partner for the Transportation & Delivery team to size impacts of initiatives and their cost implications.
- Reporting and Dashboarding: Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to monitor performance and identify areas of improvement.
- Cost Savings and Margin Optimization: Collaborate with the Profitability Management and the Strategic Corporate Finance team to identify areas of opportunity for cost savings and margin optimization.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, or business analytics.
- Experience: ~1 year of experience in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment.
- Skills: Strong analytical and quantitative skills, experience working within large datasets, and strong cross-functional communication skills.
- Tools: Strong Microsoft Excel and SQL skills, familiarity with data analysis tools such as Looker, PowerBi or Tableau.
