About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer to join our team at European Tech Recruit. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying high-quality native Android apps.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze Customer Requirements

Work closely with our clients to understand their technical needs and create detailed specifications for our Android app development projects.

  • Develop and Deploy Android Apps

Design, develop, test, and deploy fully-featured native Android apps using Kotlin, Java, and Android SDK.

  • Maintain and Update Technical Documentation

Ensure that our internal technical documentation is up-to-date and accurate, reflecting the latest developments in Android app development.

  • Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams

Work closely with our engineering, testing, design, and project management teams to ensure seamless collaboration and delivery of high-quality projects.

  • Report on Project Performance

Monitor and report on project performance, identifying areas for improvement and suggesting corrective actions to ensure timely delivery and high-quality results.

Requirements
  • Relevant Degree

A degree in a relevant field, such as computer science or engineering.

  • Android Development Experience

Proven experience in developing native Android apps with Kotlin, Java, and Android SDK.

  • Strong Understanding of Android Architecture

A deep understanding of Android architecture, including MVVM and Material Design.

  • Clean Code Practices

Experience with clean code practices, SOLID principles, and legacy app maintenance.

  • Unit and Automated Testing

Proficiency in unit and automated testing, including UI testing.

  • Agile Methodologies

Experience with Git, Agile methodologies, and RESTful services.

  • Language Skills

Fluency in German and English.

  • CI Pipelines

Experience integrating CI pipelines with App Testing Services.

  • Cross-Platform App Development

Knowledge of Cross-Platform App development with ReactNative.
