At Haus am Stadtwald, we provide a specialized, therapeutic environment for 48 young adults with complex care needs.

Due to accidents or advanced illnesses, some individuals require a level of care that cannot be met in their current living situation. Our facility offers a unique solution, providing a supportive community where individuals can thrive.

We are seeking a skilled Speech Therapist to join our team, working closely with our multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct diagnostic assessments and screenings for neurological disorders, including dysphagia
• Plan and support videoendoscopic swallowing examinations
• Develop and implement communication strategies in collaboration with various service providers
• Collaborate with therapy, medical, and care teams to provide holistic care
• Provide family support and education
• Establish and maintain relationships with healthcare professionals and insurance providers

Requirements:

• Completed education or equivalent in Logopedics, Speech-Language Pathology, or Clinical Linguistics
• Experience in speech therapy and working with neurological patients is an asset
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong problem-solving and adaptability skills
