This role will oversee the entire construction process, from entitlement and permitting to project closeout, ensuring alignment with company goals.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and manage the overall construction program to achieve standardization, reduce cycle time, and minimize costs.
- Create and implement project tools, processes, and procedures to ensure seamless project execution.
- Define and develop key business engagement processes to facilitate leadership decision-making.
- Establish a comprehensive QA/QC program to prevent problems and identify risks early in the project lifecycle.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to drive coordination and integration.
- Lead the project team in managing construction, including pre-construction, design, permitting, entitlements, competitive bidding, team selection, construction, commissioning, and project closeout.
- Hold the project team accountable for creating and managing project budgets, establishing monthly forecasts, and ensuring coordination with internal stakeholders.
- Bachelor's degree in construction management or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 7-10 years of experience in a management role, with 10-15 years preferred.
- Data center experience is required, with CSA and MEP construction management experience also necessary.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management tools like MS Project or P6.
- Travel requirements are expected to be 5-10% but may increase over time.
