Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Financial Analyst to enhance our team and assist Project Managers in conducting Monthly Project Evaluations. Your role will encompass assessing project outcomes, executing cost variance assessments, formulating strategies for cost efficiency, and aiding in the forecasting activities. Additionally, you will be tasked with maintaining project control systems, working closely with accounting teams, and finalizing projects upon their conclusion. The ideal candidate will possess a finance or accounting background, be proficient in both German and English, and demonstrate strong analytical capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist Project Managers in evaluating project outcomes
• Conduct cost variance assessments and devise cost efficiency strategies
• Contribute to the forecasting activities
• Timely update project control systems
• Collaborate with accounting teams for precise cost allocation
• Finalize projects upon their conclusion
• Execute ad-hoc analyses as required
• Provide insights during the Sales and Quotation phases
• Support the finance team with reporting tasks

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years' experience in accounting or controlling
• Bachelor's degree in finance or a related discipline
• Fluent in German and English; Dutch is an advantage
• Proficient in SAP, MS Office, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Capable of working independently as well as collaboratively
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Familiarity with MS Dynamics - Axapta is a plus
• Willingness to travel occasionally
