Scent & Care is our division that creates and sells fragrances, cosmetic ingredients, aroma molecules, and mint aromas. We work with manufacturers to produce perfumes, personal care, and cosmetic products, cleaning products, detergents, home fragrances, and oral care products.
Your Role
We are seeking an EU REACH Substance Coordinator (m/f/d) with a strong understanding of EU REACH regulations and experience in managing complex compliance processes. As an EU REACH Substance Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in managing compliance, offering a challenging yet rewarding professional environment.
This remote position can be located anywhere within Germany. Your responsibilities will include:
- Coordinating all activities related to EU REACH with all stakeholders, ensuring compliance with EU REACH regulations.
- Registering our chemical S&C substances for EU REACH, including completing and submitting IUCLID Dossiers.
- Serving as a primary point of contact with authorities like ECHA for the REACH evaluated substances.
- Collaborating with consultants and consortia.
- Providing responsive support for both internal and external stakeholders to ensure compliance with relevant provisions.
- Offering consultation on EU REACH with the business stakeholders and R&D teams.
About You
We are looking for a candidate with:
- A university degree with a focus on chemistry or a similar field.
- A superior understanding and 5 years of experience of EU REACH regulation, with familiarity with other REACH-like regulations being a plus.
- Experience in setting up and maintaining EU REACH dossiers in the IUCLID system.
- Proficiency in ERP systems such as SAP.
- A very good command of English, both written and spoken, and ideally a good command of a second major language such as German.
- Outstanding communication skills to liaise effectively with internal stakeholders, consultants, and authorities.
- Exceptional analytical and time management abilities, as well as the ability to work independently and under time constraints.
- A great team player mentality and the motivation to work in international teams.
