Job Description

We are seeking a highly qualified Research Scientist to join our team at Universität Bielefeld. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting scientific research within the subproject A6 "Zeta functions of integral quiver representations".

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct scientific research in the field of mathematics, with a focus on algebra, number theory, and geometry.
  • Participate in joint research projects and discussions within the project A6.
  • Assist in planning and organizing project-oriented events, such as workshops.
  • Contribute to the main topics of discussion and research in the CRC TRR.
  • Assist in planning and organizing CRC TRR events.
Requirements:
  • Scientific university degree in mathematics.
  • PhD in Mathematics, preferably in Algebra, Number Theory, or Geometry.
  • Very good oral and written English skills.
  • Independent, dedicated, and self-reliant style of work.
  • Cooperative and team-oriented way of working.
  • German skills or readiness to learn German in the course of the first year.
