Job Description

As an experienced and passionate Product Owner, you will be instrumental in defining, building and managing our SaaS product. In this key role, adaptability and the ability to succeed in a rapidly evolving industry are critical. You will work with cross-functional teams including development, design, marketing, and customer support to ensure the product meets customer needs and business goals.

Your Key Responsibilities
  • Product Vision: Define and communicate a clear product vision and strategy that aligns with overall business goals and market trends.
  • Requirements Gathering: Work with stakeholders, customers, and internal teams to gather, prioritize, and document product requirements, user stories, and use cases.
  • Product Roadmap: Develop and maintain a product roadmap that represents features, enhancements, and updates over time.
  • Backlog Management: Maintain a well-prioritized product backlog to ensure the development team always clearly understands what needs to be developed next.
  • Release Planning: Work with development teams to plan and execute product releases, coordinate activities, and ensure releases are on time and meet quality standards.
  • Product Design: Work with designers to create user-friendly and intuitive interfaces and ensure the product delivers an exceptional user experience.
  • Market Research: Stay abreast of industry trends, customer feedback, and competitive analysis to identify opportunities and potential threats to the product.
  • User Feedback: Collect and analyze user feedback and data to make informed decisions about product enhancements and new features.
Your Profile
  • Proven experience as a product owner in a SaaS or software development environment.
  • Good understanding of SaaS business models in B2B, cloud technologies, and software development processes (Agile/Scrum).
  • Excellent communication skills to communicate product vision and requirements to cross-functional teams.
  • Analytical and data-driven decision-making skills.
  • Customer-centric mindset with the ability to empathize with user needs.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills.
  • Familiarity with product management tools such as JIRA, Azure DevOps.
  • Experience in IT security and/or cybersecurity is a plus.
  • Fluency in English (both written and verbal); German language skills are a plus.
