We are seeking a highly skilled Software Architect to join our team at HUK-COBURG. As a key member of our architecture team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing modern software architectures for our distributed systems.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement software architectures for our microservices-based systems.
- Define and evolve the software architecture for our distributed systems, ensuring scalability, reliability, and maintainability.
- Contribute to the development of architecture guidelines and standards for our software development teams.
- Evaluate and test architecture and infrastructure solutions to meet the needs of our development teams.
- Coach and mentor development teams on modern and agile architecture practices.
- Support development teams in creating solution architectures and leveraging new technologies.
- Ensure knowledge sharing and transfer within the development teams through provision of information materials.
- Master's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience in software development.
- Strong knowledge and experience in software development for distributed systems.
- Experience with Java, microservices architecture, and Domain-Driven Design.
- Desirable: expertise in cloud computing (public, on-prem), frontend architecture, and development, as well as knowledge of authentication and authorization standards and procedures.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and persuade.
