We are seeking a Senior Consultant | Regulatory Compliance (m/w/d) to join our team.

How can financial institutions protect themselves against Financial Crime and thereby minimize potential risks associated with money laundering, terrorism financing, fraud, and other significant legal requirements? What management elements and structures are necessary to comprehensively manage the increasing number of non-financial risks? Join our team to set the highest standards for integrity and accountability in the banking sector with the Compliance Landscape of the Future. Support our clients in navigating this complex environment through the following areas:

Strategic Viability of the Compliance Function: Enhance corporate governance by strategically designing and evolving the compliance function towards a comprehensive compliance management system, considering (inter)national regulations and standards. Operationalization and Implementation Readiness: Analyze the impacts of regulatory requirements in the compliance domain and guide our clients from preliminary studies through the conceptualization of measures to the implementation of these in processes, methodologies, and IT systems.

The following Focus Areas can be emphasized:

Compliance Management: (Further) development of compliance organizations regarding structural and procedural organization, development of future-proof operating models and compliance strategies, and regulatory compliance for the overarching and harmonized management of significant compliance risk categories. Digital Compliance: Design an efficient and future-oriented IT architecture, implement suitable system components, and digitize related processes through the increasing use of cloud, AI, and big data. Capital Market Compliance: Strategic, tactical, and operational development of the capital market/securities compliance function. Non-Financial Risk Management: Address non-financial risks in areas such as data protection, information security, outsourcing, and business continuity management, and manage and summarize individual risks within an effective Non-Financial Risk Management Framework (NFRM).

Your Profile

You have successfully completed a degree in business, law, business psychology, or a STEM field. You bring at least 2 years of professional experience in the field of compliance management and combating financial crime, for example, in banks, insurance companies, industrial firms, consulting, or auditing. Experience with compliance IT systems (e.g., KYC/CDD, AML monitoring, sanctions screening) is desirable. A service-oriented and self-reliant work style, along with analytical and structured thinking, are among your strengths. To optimally advise our clients on-site, you are willing to travel nationally and internationally. Excellent German and good English language skills are part of your profile.
