For our operations, we are currently seeking a Logistics Planning Specialist (m/f/d) to join the Supply Chain team, reporting directly to the Supply Chain Planning Manager.
As a Logistics Planning Specialist, you will collaborate with the Supply Chain Planning Manager, Marketing, Sales, and Finance teams to oversee Demand & Supply Forecasting and optimize inventory levels across Amplifon’s operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Enhance and streamline demand and inventory processes to identify areas for improvement and implement necessary actions. Assess current sales and supplier demand forecasts to generate system-based forecasts, analyzing historical demand, trends, and discrepancies. Work alongside various departments (IT, marketing, sales, finance) to ensure high accuracy in demand forecasting and effective inventory management. Conduct comprehensive forecasting of sales and supplier demand. Ensure optimal product positioning and quantities in stock to minimize inventory levels while adhering to Service Level Agreements. Monitor stock levels to reduce inventory throughout the network and ensure compliance with established Service Level Agreements. Generate reports related to demand and inventory metrics by tracking key performance indicators. Oversee the Inventory Planning process to establish and execute inventory schedules and targets. Produce timely forecast accuracy reports, detailing root causes and external factors impacting demand, while working to enhance forecast accuracy. Develop and maintain documentation and standard operating procedures for demand planning processes and systems. Collaborate with logistics to create reports and KPIs for monitoring various indices.Candidate Profile:
A completed university degree in fields such as Management Engineering or Economics. Significant experience in Inventory Management, Supply Chain Planning, and Forecasting, preferably in retail or large-scale distribution environments. Strong proficiency in numerical analysis and statistical modeling. Familiarity with key stock performance metrics, including turnover and margin contribution. Ability to utilize cross-functional skills to engage with diverse stakeholders in managing and resolving inventory challenges. In-depth knowledge of stock management principles, including accounting and cost management. Proficiency in English; knowledge of German is advantageous.What We Offer:
