Role Overview
The successful delivery of a comprehensive software solution like SAP HANA involves a multifaceted process to meet diverse requirements. Automating these processes is essential, aiming for a streamlined, one-click deployment to clients. Our delivery team has developed various tools utilizing technologies such as Python and Jenkins to facilitate this automation. There are numerous tasks and innovative ideas in progress to enhance automation and improve the quality of existing processes. This role presents an excellent opportunity for a student to gain practical experience in the build and delivery cycle of a significant software project.
Qualifications
Required Skills:
1. Enrollment in a computer science program or a related field at a recognized higher education institution.
2. Demonstrated programming experience through prior projects, with proficiency in Python and SQL. Familiarity with Jenkins is advantageous.
3. Proficient in English for daily interactions (B level); knowledge of German (B level) is a plus.

About Your Team
The SAP HANA Delivery team is tasked with ensuring the timely and quality delivery of HANA on-premises and HANA Cloud solutions to our clients. We coordinate release schedules, maintain quality standards, and transform the SAP HANA source code repository into a deployable release. Post-delivery, we oversee the management of released versions, which involves numerous ongoing tasks in HANA Cloud version management.
Our delivery team collaborates with various stakeholders, including SAP HANA program and product management, development teams, technical support, and numerous internal partners who build applications on the SAP HANA Platform.
