We are seeking a skilled Software Development Engineer to contribute to our innovative Fire TV ecosystem. This role involves working on essential components that enhance user interaction and control of Fire TV devices.

Fire TV is a leading platform utilized by millions for their entertainment needs. As part of our dedicated team, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and advancing our position in the market by ensuring an exceptional experience for our users and partners.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage in the design and execution of features across various Fire TV devices, including TVs, Sticks, and Cubes, with a focus on enhancing user satisfaction.
- Participate in Agile development processes, taking full ownership of project scope and domain.
- Design, implement, and deliver functionalities within the Fire TV Android codebase.
Team Dynamics
Our Berlin-based team, consisting of over 40 professionals, is responsible for both client and service implementations across multiple domains. We operate under a supportive leadership structure and are accountable for the strategic roadmap that drives Fire TV features globally.
Basic Qualifications
- Proven experience in professional software development (non-internship).
- Proficiency in at least one modern programming language such as Java, C++, or C#, with a solid understanding of object-oriented design principles.
- Experience in designing or architecting systems, focusing on design patterns, reliability, and scalability.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with the complete software development lifecycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
- A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
