Cybersecurity Specialist in Vulnerability and Patch Management

We are currently seeking a full-time Cybersecurity Specialist focusing on Vulnerability and Patch Management to join our Information Security Management team.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee automated effectiveness assessments within the Information Security Management team and Vulnerability Management as part of the 2nd Line of Defense.
- Develop hardening guidelines based on industry Best Practices, such as CIS Benchmarks, and ensure their implementation is monitored effectively.
- Assist in the technical evaluation of vulnerabilities using CVSS within operational contexts, generating management-oriented reports and metrics.
- Coordinate, support, and assess penetration testing for both internal and external clients, enhancing digitized processes where feasible.
- Create guidelines aligned with ISO 2700x standards and CIS Benchmark, providing expert advice on information security and supporting awareness initiatives.
- A degree in (Business) Informatics, Mathematics, or Information Technology, complemented by several years of relevant professional experience or equivalent qualifications.
- Proficient technical knowledge in Information Security / IT Security, particularly regarding hardening guidelines and vulnerability assessments.
- Strong technical skills in IT technologies for assessing security deviations, along with programming capabilities in languages such as Python, Java, and various scripting languages.
- Familiarity with tools like Qualys Vulnerability Management, Policy Compliance, and Web Application Scanning is advantageous.
- Fluent in German (minimum C1 level) and possess good English skills (minimum B2 level).
- A strong sense of responsibility, excellent communication and coordination skills, along with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
