Position Overview

The Logistics Coordinator is responsible for the effective planning and execution of warehouse operations, ensuring smooth loading and unloading of freight.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage warehouse orders related to the loading and unloading of transport vehicles.
  • Process both domestic and international orders, including driver management tasks such as registration and documentation.
  • Maintain accurate bookings and master data within the warehouse management system (SAP-EWM).
  • Develop and update loading and unloading schedules to optimize operations.
  • Implement sorting strategies, including bookings, labeling, and inventory oversight.
  • Collaborate with the technical team to address any operational issues.
  • Coordinate warehouse activities with staff to ensure efficient workflow.
  • Monitor and control automated picking systems to enhance productivity.

Qualifications

  • Completed vocational training, ideally in forwarding and logistics management.
  • Proficient in MS Office and familiar with SAP or a Transport Management System.
  • Strong command of German and English, with additional Eastern European language skills being a plus.
  • Demonstrated reliability, excellent communication skills, and a team-oriented mindset.
  • Flexibility to work in various shifts, including early, late, and night hours.
