About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Associate Engineer to join our Technology, Data and Innovation (TDI) Private Bank division at Deutsche Bank Aktiengesellschaft. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for configuration and deployment management for web service and frontend development, as well as continuous enhancement of the existing CI/CD pipeline.

Your Key Responsibilities
  • Configure and deploy web services and frontends, ensuring seamless integration with our core banking applications.
  • Develop and maintain the CI/CD pipeline, ensuring efficient and reliable delivery of software changes.
  • Manage the configuration of application infrastructure, including needs-based sizing and connection of central IT solutions.
  • Support the release management process, providing necessary documentation before and after go-live.
  • Contribute to the expansion and improvement of our monitoring infrastructure.
Your Skills and Experience
  • Advanced knowledge of Spring Boot/Java, Maven, Artifactory, Teamcity, Bitbucket, GitHub & GitHub Actions, as well as container-based technologies like Docker, Kubernetes, and Openshift.
  • Relevant experience as a DevOps engineer, supporting CI/CD processes for Java applications.
  • Initial practical experience with Terraform and Google Cloud is desirable.
  • Knowledge of monitoring solutions (Splunk, New Relic, Prometheus/Kibana) and best practices.
  • Independent, proactive, and results-oriented approach to work.
  • Excellent communication skills in German and English.
