About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Controller to join our team at Horstmann Group. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for providing financial guidance and support to our business operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the preparation and execution of financial transactions, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
  • Conduct regular account reconciliations and ensure accurate financial reporting.
  • Collaborate with our tax consultant to prepare monthly and annual financial statements, as well as statistical reports.
  • Develop and implement process improvements in financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Provide financial analysis and insights to support business decisions and drive growth.
  • Support the management team in decision-making processes and business development initiatives.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field, preferably with a focus on finance or accounting.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Proficiency in DATEV software and experience with ERP systems.
  • Strong analytical skills and passion for numbers, as well as business acumen beyond basic accounting knowledge.
  • Ability to optimize processes and analyze data to drive business growth.
  • Structured, proactive, and self-motivated work style, with a focus on prioritization and communication.
