Position: Costume Designer

We seek talented individuals who possess a strong sense of aesthetics, particularly in colors, patterns, and textiles, alongside exceptional craftsmanship abilities. Working within the theatrical sector entails the fabrication of diverse costumes, some of which are inspired by historical themes, allowing audiences to experience various narratives.

Role Overview:
  • Design and produce bespoke garments including women's dresses, theatrical outfits, outerwear, skirts, suits, or everyday apparel according to the specifications provided by costume designers.

Training and Duties:
  • Participate in the costume division of Stadt Pforzheim Stadttheater to fabricate stage costumes and accessories in alignment with the sketches provided by costume designers.
  • Acquire knowledge of diverse tailoring methods.
Qualifications:

Minimum educational requirement: High School Diploma

Training Location: Stadt Pforzheim Stadttheater, Costume Division

Vocational School: CarlHoferSchule Karlsruhe

Duration: 3 years
