About the Role
The Digital Supply Chain Manager for Procurement Applications will oversee the delivery of premier services within a multifaceted Supply Chain systems framework at the corporate level. You will be integral to the Global Digital Supply Chain team, tasked with managing, administering, supporting, evaluating, designing, and deploying Supply Chain platforms, processes, and systems, utilizing both internal and outsourced resources.
This role encompasses managing and supporting global, regional, and local project deployments within the Procurement & Compliance domain.
Serving as the primary contact, this position is accountable for the performance indicators of Procurement Digital applications, overseeing operations, growth, standardization, stabilization, innovation, expansion, and consolidation. This role can be based in various locations.
This position significantly influences the entire HARMAN Supply Chain Procurement and Compliance processes and systems across all divisions, engaging with various organizational levels, including global and regional Business Process Owners (BPO) for procurement and compliance.
Your Team
This role includes direct reports dedicated to Digital Supply Chain Networks in various regions. The Digital Supply Chain Manager for Procurement and Compliance will supervise a group of service providers, contractors, and project managers involved in Digital and Business-related projects, incidents, or service requests. Reporting to a Digital Supply Chain Director or a regional Senior Manager, you will lead your team effectively.
What You Will Do
Manage, identify, and administer new or existing Global Digital Supply Chain platforms, systems, and process implementations or enhancements. Collaborate with all management levels and staff to provide strategic and tactical guidance related to Digital Supply Chain platforms, systems, and processes. Establish strong relationships and service delivery reporting to regional supply chain stakeholders. Lead the analysis of current business needs to anticipate and deliver solutions to applicable business challenges and requirements, particularly within the SAP Landscape (SAP Purchasing, SAP Ariba, SAP SBN, etc.). Define, support, and manage the resource structure effectively. Collaborate with Digital, business, and external teams to allocate resources, resolve issues, manage projects, and address service requests related to Digital Supply Chain Systems and Services. Create and maintain Global Supply Chain standards and develop functional and technical specifications and requirements. Simultaneously manage multiple complex global technology-centric projects, ensuring adherence to schedule, cost, and quality. Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Supply Chain Networks, conducting periodic knowledge-sharing sessions with key users and business SMEs, and developing training materials and process documentation. Provide level 3 support globally and regionally, adhering to established methodologies during system development and ensuring compliance with HARMAN ERP/ECC standards and procedures.What You Need
Strong leadership, change orientation, collaboration, and customer service skills. Bachelor's or master's degree in Computers, Information Technology, or a related field. A global perspective with the ability to work effectively in a culturally diverse organization. Extensive industry experience in Automotive, Electronic Consumer Products, or High Technology sectors. Proven experience managing customer-facing strategic projects and Application Development initiatives. Demonstrated ability to manage key stakeholder interests while balancing conflicting priorities and business needs. Over 10 years of increasing responsibilities within a global, multicultural, multi-location organization. In-depth knowledge of SAP Ariba, SAP S4/Hana central procurement, SAP SRM-MM, SAP GTS, and SAP Vertex, with additional knowledge of SAP PP, EDI ABAP, or trade compliance systems being advantageous. Over 8 years of experience managing vendor and contractor teams. Exceptional analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to adapt to a dynamic project environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship management skills, with strong conflict resolution and negotiation capabilities.Preferred Qualifications:
Experience and certification in SAP/4 Hana central procurement. Experience and certification in Ariba cloud implementation. Knowledge of global transportation management and trade compliance systems. General understanding of BI and Analytics. Project management certifications (PMO, Agile, Scrum). Formal training or certifications in problem-solving methodologies.What Makes You Eligible
