Senior Medical Expert (m/f/d) for New Assets

As a Senior Medical Expert (m/f/d) focusing on New Assets, you will play a crucial role in advancing the objectives of Merz Therapeutics. Your medical expertise will be essential in driving key initiatives within Medical Affairs, ensuring our innovative product portfolio reaches its maximum potential on a global scale.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Execute vital Medical Affairs initiatives, including B2B and healthcare professional training, delivering medical information, authoring scientific publications, and coordinating medical and scientific events.
  • Act as the primary liaison for Merz country organizations and distribution partners within our global medical network.
  • Contribute as a Medical Advisor to the success of our new assets within global launch teams.
  • Facilitate scientific advisory boards with leading international experts.
  • Establish and nurture strong relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) to enhance the scientific credibility and visibility of our offerings.
  • Monitor and evaluate emerging medical and scientific trends to provide strategic insights and recommendations.
  • Present our medical-scientific data at international congresses and leverage your expertise to convey scientific content at business meetings.

CANDIDATE PROFILE

  • Medical doctor or PhD in natural sciences, with a preference for experience in neurology.
  • Extensive experience in the pharmaceutical sector or clinical Contract Research Organizations (CROs).
  • Strong project management capabilities.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, fluent in English, with the ability to articulate complex scientific concepts.
  • Collaborative team player with innovative thinking and a creative approach.
  • Willingness to travel internationally.
