Role Overview
Engage in hands-on development using Python within a dynamic team of software engineers and quantitative developers, spearheading transformative advancements in the financial sector. Participate in modern software development methodologies, including agile practices, continuous integration and deployment, test automation, and cloud-based infrastructure. Oversee the creation of high-performance risk management tools designed for regulatory compliance, alongside near-real-time interactive dashboards and alert systems to monitor risk exposure across numerous positions. Innovate next-generation wealth management and brokerage services accessible to all. Contribute to and develop data-driven initiatives aimed at generating substantial business value. Gain exposure to trading algorithms that autonomously manage significant assets and execute millions of trading decisions within minutes. Ensure that none of the aforementioned tasks are conducted using spreadsheet tools. Provide support to investment managers, trading, backend operations, wealth management, and risk management.Candidate Profile
As a member of our Financial Engineering Team, you should possess:
A strong academic background in a quantitative field such as financial mathematics, computational finance, or statistics. Proficient knowledge of Python programming. Familiarity with version control systems, software development practices, and software design principles. Availability for a minimum of 3 months for an internship or 6 months as a working student. Proficiency in English, both written and spoken. Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to convey information clearly and concisely to various stakeholders, including engineering and product teams.Preferred Qualifications
Experience with cloud service providers such as AWS. Knowledge of relational databases and SQL. Understanding of econometrics, portfolio optimization, and risk modeling.
