Quality Assurance and Release Management Director

Qualifications:
Minimum of 5 years in a quality assurance role within a product development organization, particularly with a focus on SaaS solutions and user-centric applications across iOS, Android, and web interfaces.
Proven experience in leading and expanding a diverse QA team.
In-depth understanding of software development lifecycle and release management practices.
Experience in UI test automation for both web and mobile platforms is highly advantageous.
Proficient in testing methodologies and familiar with standard QA and development tools.
Strong analytical capabilities and problem-solving aptitude.
Exceptional proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
Key Responsibilities:
Objective:
Oversee and develop a team of QA testers and automation specialists responsible for ensuring the quality of our comprehensive platform. This encompasses our SpotMe Backstage, an advanced content management system, our user-facing mobile and web applications, and the overall performance of our SaaS platform, which accommodates thousands of simultaneous users.
Collaborate closely with Product and Engineering teams to strategize and schedule both minor and major product launches.
Implement innovative testing protocols and refine existing processes to continuously enhance the overall quality of our platform and offerings.
Reports to: VP of Engineering
Responsibilities:
Recruit and cultivate a skilled team of QA testers, including both manual and automation specialists.
Establish and uphold SpotMe's quality and release management benchmarks, ensuring compliance for every product launch.
Oversee the release management workflow, guaranteeing adherence to SpotMe's QA standards and requirements for each deployment.
Coordinate with product and engineering teams to effectively schedule testing and releases in alignment with sprint plans and the product roadmap.
Continuously enhance our QA methodologies to ensure the stability and quality of product releases, catering to over 2 million users annually.
Utilize data analytics to pinpoint areas of the product that necessitate additional testing or specific testing cycles.
Exhibit creativity and initiative in enhancing our product's test coverage and methodologies.
