Key Responsibilities:- Web Development and Platform Building: Design and develop a user-friendly self-service platform that streamlines our customer journey, leveraging your expertise in Ruby on Rails and modern web development techniques.
- Software Engineering and Quality Assurance: Develop high-quality software that meets security and performance standards, utilizing our automated CI/CD pipelines for efficient and reliable deployments.
- Teamwork and Initiative: Collaborate with our cross-functional team of 8 (engineering, data, product design, product management) to identify and implement the best solutions, actively participating in code reviews and product discussions.
- Experience and Technical Expertise: Bring your solid experience in setting up web applications with Ruby on Rails in an agile environment, and stay up-to-date with the latest approaches, including GraphQL integration, containerization, security enhancements, and modern front-end frameworks.
- Architecture Understanding and Best Practices: Demonstrate a deep understanding of software components and interactions, modern web/cloud development and testing methods, and experience with monitoring and logging systems like Prometheus, Grafana, and OpenTelemetry.
- Passion and Willingness to Learn: Show a passion for the Ruby ecosystem, a strong bias for action, and a willingness to continuously develop your skills and knowledge.
