About the Role

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced EHS Coordinator to join our team at syncreon America Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the German facilities in the area of EHS & Compliance, implementing legal and corporate requirements, and preparing reports and analyses.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the German facilities in the area of EHS & Compliance
  • Implement legal and corporate requirements regarding environment, health management, occupational safety & compliance topics
  • Prepare reports, analyses, reviews, and KPIs, as well as derive corresponding improvement measures
  • Prepare risk analyses, develop standards, work instructions, and training programs
  • Monitor the implementation of and compliance with agreed guidelines and standards
  • Cooperate with the training team regarding required staff training
  • Execute and support regular audits and inspections, including documentation according to group specifications, and follow up on measures taken
  • Act as a contact person for customers, employees, and third parties regarding environmental, health management, occupational safety, and compliance issues
  • Ensure conformity with DIN EN ISO 14001 and 45001, as well as the Group's compliance requirements

Requirements:

  • Completed academic degree or completed vocational training in the economic or technical field, with corresponding further qualification in the area of EHS
  • Training as internal auditor and occupational health and safety management representative, environmental management representative desirable
  • 3-5 years of professional experience, with at least 2 years in the EHS area
  • Extensive knowledge of the DIN EN 14001 and 45001 standards would be an advantage
  • Experience in the field of logistics is advantageous, knowledge in the handling of hazardous goods and hazardous substances is also advantageous
  • Very good knowledge of MS Office applications, especially Excel, PowerPoint
  • Fluent German and English in spoken and written form
