Position Overview
We are in search of a seasoned Product Manager focusing on foundational aspects to drive significant impact across our centralized software product suite. This role offers a unique opportunity to influence our organization at multiple levels, particularly in data visualization and workflow applications, as part of a diverse international team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Formulate and implement the product strategy and roadmap, fostering innovation while aligning with the overarching strategic objectives of the company.
- Collaborate closely with the Director of Product within the technology division, engaging with agile teams responsible for developing and managing cloud-based software products.
- Establish yourself as a reliable partner for business stakeholders, comprehending their needs and executing the product roadmap to generate business value.
- Adopt a continuous discovery methodology to grasp user requirements, integrating feedback into product development to enhance satisfaction and maximize impact.
- Maintain regular communication with stakeholders, setting clear expectations regarding timelines and feasibility, ensuring consistent delivery from your team.
- Cultivate trust with engineering, data, and UX teams by ensuring alignment between development and business values, while allowing for research, refactoring, security, scalability, and automation.
- Engage hands-on in product and feature development, ensuring rapid learning and alignment with business and customer needs.
- Define critical business objectives, KPIs, and success metrics, monitoring and improving them consistently.
- Analyze product metrics and performance regularly, driving enhancements based on both quantitative and qualitative insights.
- Effectively navigate an agile environment, managing the product lifecycle and maintaining a clear, concise product roadmap.
- Stay informed on market trends and competitive dynamics to shape product strategy and anticipate customer needs.
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years' experience as a product manager with a proven history of successfully launching and scaling software products from inception to maturity, preferably within the advertising or media sectors.
- Strong business acumen with demonstrated ability to collaborate with senior commercial stakeholders.
- Prior experience as a platform product manager or with complex technical products.
- Proficient in conducting product discovery sessions with users.
- Familiarity with SCRUM and agile methodologies.
- Ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage relationships in a hybrid work environment.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, capable of simplifying complex concepts for diverse audiences.
- Strong analytical skills for interpreting trends and deriving insights for data-driven decision-making.
- Strategic mindset grounded in practical execution - 'Live in the future, then build what's missing' (P. Graham).
- Ideally, over 1 year of experience with OKRs.
- Relevant professional experience as a software developer, ideally holding a Bachelor's or Master's degree in information technology, computer science, or a related discipline.
- Proficiency in English (minimum C1) and German (minimum B2).
