About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager to join our team at North GmbH. As a key member of our research department, you will play a crucial role in overseeing geodata and geoinformatics research projects, ensuring timely, within-scope, and budget-compliant completion.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee geodata and geoinformatics research projects, ensuring timely, within-scope, and budget-compliant completion.
  • Handle tasks independently and coordinate with consortium partners to achieve objectives.
  • Prepare detailed project reports and collaborate with internal and external teams.
  • Manage project accounting and controlling, including budgeting and financial reporting.
  • Participate in project meetings, both domestically and internationally, representing the project and providing updates.
  • Utilize project management tools for effective planning, documentation, and communication.
About You

We are looking for a candidate with a proven track record of experience (2+ years) as a Project Manager, ideally within software development projects. You should have experience in project accounting and controlling, an analytical mindset, and a business-oriented approach to project management.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience (2+ years) as a Project Manager, ideally within software development projects.

  • Agile mindset, strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Persistence and excellent abilities to handle challenges.
  • Fluent in German and English written and spoken.
