Software Quality Assurance Specialist

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team at ANTRAGO. As a key member of our software development team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest level of product quality and user experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Test Strategy and Planning: Collaborate with the team to develop and implement a comprehensive test strategy that meets the requirements of our software solutions.
  • Automated Test Cases: Design, implement, and maintain automated test scripts to accelerate our software testing process and identify errors.
  • Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation of test procedures to centralize knowledge and facilitate easy access.
  • Error Analysis: Communicate effectively with colleagues during error analysis and documentation, supporting error resolution.
  • Collaboration: Regularly engage with development teams to ensure a test case exists for every new feature.

Technologies You'll Encounter

Development Platform and Build Server: Azure DevOps (Pipelines)

Frontend Testing: Cypress for E-2-E tests, Spectator (Jest) for Unit Tests

Backend Testing: Postman for endpoint tests, K6 for performance and load tests, NUnit for component or integration tests

Your Skills and Experience
  • You have at least 3 years of experience in software quality assurance, ideally including experience with Cypress.
  • You bring in-depth knowledge of JavaScript or TypeScript for programming test scripts.
  • Your understanding of web standards and formats (HTTP, REST API, JSON) informs your daily work.
  • You possess strong communication skills to foster cooperative collaboration and quickly find solutions with colleagues.
  • You require excellent German skills for communication with your team, customers, and understanding our software.
