Ticket Inspector

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Security Officer. As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our customers and employees.

• Conduct fare inspections and ticket checks to ensure compliance with VRR/VRS/NRW tariffs
• Verify customer entitlement to receive the increased fare allowance in accordance with the customer's payment status
• Monitor and enforce adherence to general transportation regulations and railway operating regulations
• Provide excellent customer service, answering questions about transportation conditions, tariffs, and locations, as well as assisting with emergencies and providing first aid
• Control access permissions within and outside secure areas
• Provide security and order services
• Conduct surveillance and monitoring

• Minimum B1 level in reading and writing
• Customer-focused and service-oriented mindset, with experience in customer service or a willingness to learn
• Proof of qualification in accordance with Section 34a of the German Trade, Commerce and Industry Regulation Act (can be obtained after hiring)
• ÖPV training (can be obtained after hiring)
• Tariff knowledge training in VRR/VRS/NRW tariffs (can be obtained after hiring)
• First aid training
• Availability for shift work, including night shifts
• Police clearance certificate without any entries
• If you are a qualified security officer, you may be eligible for a salary of €17.18 per hour*
