We are seeking a skilled Software Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team at emagine Consulting. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of our software products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze Requirements and Create Test Cases: Work closely with our development team to analyze requirements and create comprehensive test cases to ensure our software meets the required standards.
- Monitor Compliance with Quality Standards: Regularly monitor our software development process to ensure compliance with quality standards and metrics related to software quality.
- Conduct Manual and Automated Tests: Conduct manual and partially automated tests to identify and report defects in our software.
- Document Test Results and Prepare Test Reports: Document test results and prepare detailed test reports to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
- Analyze and Document Errors: Analyze and document errors to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
- Collaborate with Test Colleagues and Development Team: Collaborate closely with our test colleagues and development team to ensure seamless integration and delivery of high-quality software.
Requirements:
- Education: Completed degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or relevant field, or completed training as a computer scientist.
- Professional Experience: Professional experience in software testing and quality assurance.
- Certifications: ISTQB Certified Tester Foundation Level.
- Skills: Knowledge of test methods, test tools, and agile software development processes. Experience with test management systems and ticket management systems. Attention to detail and accuracy. Programming skills in Java or Kotlin may be beneficial.
- Language Skills: Fluent in German (C1) and good English skills (B2).
Work Arrangement: 4 days remote / 1 day on-site per week.
