Your New Role
We are excited to announce the opening of a new hotel under the Hampton by Hilton brand and are seeking a dedicated Facility Technician to join our team. Ideally, you have prior experience in facility management and possess a strong understanding of the requirements for maintaining optimal building conditions.
Your Responsibilities
During the Pre-Opening Phase:
- Act as the primary contact during the pre-opening stage
- Conduct regular inspections of the construction site
- Manage the receipt of deliveries, including building materials and hotel furnishings
- Assist in the evaluation and commissioning of technical systems
Post-Opening Duties:
- Ensure compliance with all legal regulations and guidelines related to building services
- Regularly inspect technical equipment in guest rooms for functionality and condition
- Perform daily walkthroughs to assess the building's condition and its surroundings
- Oversee inspections of building systems such as heating, air conditioning, elevators, and electrical systems
- Liaise with and supervise contractors and service providers
- Support the development of emergency and safety plans
- Execute repairs and maintenance tasks as needed

Our Ideal Candidate
- Proven experience as a Facility Technician, Maintenance Manager, or in a similar role
- Familiarity with technical building systems is preferred
- Strong technical acumen and practical skills
- Ability to work independently with a structured and meticulous approach
- Proficient in German, both written and spoken
