In this role, you will oversee the planning and acquisition of product packaging and other essential product categories, playing a crucial part in maintaining the high-quality standards of our intricate components.
Your Key Responsibilities- Execute strategic procurement for packaging and other production-related product categories.
- Engage in negotiations with suppliers, including drafting contracts and processing orders.
- Research and assess supplier offers.
- Conduct market analyses for procurement on both national and international levels.
- Analyze manufacturability and cost structures of suppliers.
- Enhance and manage strategic software solutions to improve purchasing processes and supply chain management.
- Foster and maintain various supplier relationships.
- Completed commercial training.
- Initial experience in strategic purchasing, ideally within machinery or automotive sectors.
- Prior knowledge of packaging, granulates, and chemicals is advantageous.
- Interest in and understanding of digital technologies and e-procurement solutions.
- Strong analytical skills, proficiency in MS Office applications, and familiarity with an ERP system.
- Fluent in German and proficient in English.
