Onshore Planning Manager

About the Role

Vestas is seeking an experienced Onshore Planning Manager to join our team. As a key member of our Customer Project Execution Department, you will be responsible for leading and developing a team of skilled planners, ensuring the Planning department is adequately staffed, and engaging the Planning department fully in the Sales and Execution phases.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop a team of skilled and experienced planners
  • Ensure the Planning department is adequately staffed with qualified personnel
  • Engage the Planning department fully in the Sales and Execution phases
  • Maintain compliance with the Stage Gate Model for activities and deliverables
  • Regularly update the Project Programme based on progress and changes
  • Assist the project team in identifying the critical path, risks, issues, and opportunities
  • Support the project team in claim management, short-term planning, and resource analysis, while ensuring effective reporting on progress and planning to key stakeholders

Requirements

  • Solid experience in Project Management and Planning
  • Documented history of people management
  • Experience in successfully guiding and delivering complex projects and programs
  • Demonstrated expertise in developing effective strategies for teams and departments
  • Possess keen business understanding and insight
  • Skilled in building and maintaining relationships by engaging key stakeholders to foster transparency, resolve issues, build consensus, and achieve desired outcomes
  • Fluent in English
