Project FocusWe are currently engaged in a significant project that seeks to advance therapeutic strategies for Huntington's disease, a severe neurodegenerative condition that disrupts the glymphatic and lymphatic systems, which are essential for the elimination of brain cell waste.
This condition manifests through major symptoms such as:
- Motor dysfunction
- Cognitive decline
- Neurological complications
At present, there are no established treatments to postpone the onset of Huntington's disease, nor are there adequate digital tools available for assessing the lymphatic system.
Our MissionOur objective is to gather extensive imaging data from these critical systems to develop a machine learning algorithm, ultimately creating a versatile tool for preclinical therapeutic evaluation.
