About the Role:

The Magento UI Developer will be responsible for designing and implementing features for a Magento-based e-commerce platform. This is a full-time on-site role in a dynamic and collaborative team environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and Implement Features: Develop user interfaces, optimize performance, and ensure a seamless shopping experience for customers.
  • Customization and Development: Proficiency in designing, customizing, and developing Magento themes and extensions to enhance the visual aspects of the platform.
  • eCommerce Lifecycle Development: Experience with the complete e-commerce lifecycle, from product listing to checkout, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to build and enhance the online shopping experience.
  • Responsive Design and Mobile-First Approach: Ensure that the platform is responsive across different devices and follows a mobile-first approach.
  • Clean and Well-Documented Code: Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code, thoroughly test and debug implementations to ensure high-quality deliverables.
  • Magento Module Development: Develop custom Magento modules and templates using best practices, troubleshoot and fix system integration or data-related issues.
  • JavaScript Libraries: Have a good understanding of JavaScript libraries such as jQuery, Knockoutjs, and others.
  • Configuration and Maintenance: Configure and maintain Magento 2.x sites and modules, keep the platform up-to-date, secure, and optimized.

Requirements:

  • Strong experience with Magento 2.x, PHP, HTML/CSS, and MySQL.
  • Proficient in designing, customizing, and developing Magento themes and extensions.
  • Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite, understanding of modern UI/UX trends and design principles.
  • Experience with complete eCommerce lifecycle development.
  • Experience with responsive design and mobile-first approach development.
  • Ability to write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code, and thorough testing/debugging skills.
  • Developing custom Magento modules, and templates in PHP using best practices, troubleshooting and fixing system integration/data issues.
  • Good understanding of Javascript libraries such as Jquery, Knockoutjs, and others.
  • Configure & Maintenance Magento 2.x sites & modules.
  • Must have the ability to develop Magento modules & and customization, extension development.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, or a related field is preferred.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work efficiently in a team-focused environment.
