About this Opportunity

Ericsson Deutschland is seeking a highly skilled Network Systematization Engineer to join our team in Rosenheim, Germany. As a key member of our Antenna System team, you will play a crucial role in driving the development of innovative antenna systems for our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform technical investigations on the performance of base station antenna products and new developments in the network.
  • Contribute to the development of network simulation tools for system analysis.
  • Drive and participate in studies regarding requirements and system solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify new challenges and opportunities for antenna developments.
  • Support product managers, R&D, business, and market units regarding product documentation, development, technical customer requirements, and further requests.
Requirements
  • A Master's or above in electrical engineering, communications engineering, or equivalent.
  • Advanced MATLAB knowledge, experience in antenna simulations software like HFSS, CST.
  • Good understanding of channel modeling, cellular networks, and MIMO systems.
  • Good understanding of 3GPP and cellular networks.
  • Strong understanding of RF- and antenna principles, understanding of base station antenna architectures.
  • Work experience across interdisciplinary teams.
  • Teamwork mentality.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with network planning tools (ATOLL, Planet) is a plus.
  • Scientific expertise or work experience in research projects is an advantage.
  • Effective written and spoken communications skill in English. German language knowledge is an advantage.
