We are seeking a highly skilled NDE Engineer - Mechanized Ultrasonic Testing Specialist to join our team at Westinghouse Electric Company LLC. As a key member of our innovative team, you will play a crucial role in supporting our mission to provide clean energy solutions.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and qualify mechanized ultrasonic testing techniques and systems to ensure high-quality inspection results.
- Prepare technical justifications and inspection procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Analyze data and document test results in the test laboratory and onsite to ensure accurate and reliable results.
- Prepare and implement training courses for onsite personnel to ensure they have the necessary skills to perform inspections effectively.
- Support the development of technical quotations to ensure accurate and competitive pricing.
- Support ongoing projects and products to ensure timely and effective delivery.
- Cross-departmental and cross-country collaboration to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
- Bachelor or Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering, Material Science, Mechatronic, Electrical Engineering, or other relevant engineering degree.
- German language proficiency (speaking and writing) at a C2 level.
- English language proficiency (speaking and writing) at a B2 level.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Must be legally authorized to work in Germany/Europe.
- Preferred qualifications include 5 years of experience in mechanized ultrasonic inspections on pipe or nozzle welds, UT Level 2 certification, and French language proficiency.
