About the Role:
As the Senior Director of Technology Innovation for the Virtual Power Plant division, you will be instrumental in shaping the technical landscape that manages, controls, and optimizes a decentralized fleet of renewable energy assets within the VPP. This role offers a unique opportunity to build and lead a world-class team of experts, integrate cutting-edge technology platforms, and play a pivotal role in advancing the energy industry's transformation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Infrastructure Development: Lead the creation of a robust and scalable tech infrastructure to efficiently manage, control, and optimize a large-scale fleet of renewable energy assets within the VPP.
- Team Building: Recruit, develop, and manage a high-performing team of flex optimization, data science, and engineering experts, fostering an environment of innovation, collaboration, and excellence.
- Integration Strategy: Collaborate with internal teams to seamlessly integrate the VPP technology platform into IoT ecosystem and external trading partners, ensuring interoperability and smooth operations.
- Strategic Leadership: Provide visionary leadership to drive the growth and innovation of the VPP technology initiatives, aligning with company goals and industry trends.
- Industry Expertise: Leverage your significant experience in the energy industry, particularly in flex optimization, trading, and Virtual Power Plants, to steer the strategic direction.

- Experience: A substantial track record within the energy industry, with deep expertise in flex optimization, trading, and Virtual Power Plants.
