Our IT Services Department

Our IT Services department is responsible for the operational management and development of our IT infrastructure. The team supports our colleagues at RHEINPFALZ Mediengruppe with various, exciting, and sometimes complex tasks that come with working in our media group.

Personality with Profile
  • A Qualification or Degree in the IT Field and several years of professional experience with a focus on networking
  • Experience in Planning and Operating Complex Network Structures (LAN, WLAN, WAN)
  • First Experiences with Cloud Connections (Azure, AWS, GCP) are desirable
  • Additional Knowledge in the Field of Security (preferably in Microsoft 365 and zero-trust)
  • Quick Understanding of Complex Technical and Professional Relationships
  • Experience in Project/Change Management when introducing IT systems
Tasks with Perspectives
  • Concept and Further Development of Our Network Architecture
  • Load Analysis and Capacity Planning for Firewall and VPN Solutions
  • Point of Contact for Network Questions in IT Projects
  • Steering and Coordination of Our Service Providers and Partners
  • Independent Error Analysis and Problem Resolution
  • Creation and Maintenance of IT Documentation
