Team Description and Role Details

The Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) function operates across various business sectors and geographical regions, establishing the framework for the bank's risk management, meeting regulatory standards, and promoting proactive portfolio management.

ERM defines risk appetite and provides analytical insights and recommendations to guide the bank's strategy and enhance its risk-return profile.

In this role, you will be part of the IT Product Management team focused on Stress Testing, responsible for articulating the product vision, managing the backlog, and prioritizing tasks while creating feature stories. The software delivery process adheres to the Scaled Agile Framework, and as an integral member of the product management team, you will collaborate with Product Owners, Product Managers, Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), and offshore teams, emphasizing functional analysis and analytics.

Key Responsibilities
  • Function as a business analyst with expertise in the financial and risk domains.
  • Engage in complex analytical tasks and contribute insights during discussions with Business SMEs, Project Managers (PMs), Product Owners (POs), and development teams.
  • Responsible for gathering and managing functional requirements in collaboration with Business SMEs, architecture, and delivery leads, employing an agile and iterative approach to develop suitable solutions.
  • Comprehend the technical framework of the project (Scala Spark, Java, Oracle, Python, SAS) to effectively support the development team.
  • Efficiently understand business challenges and provide input during the requirements gathering phase. Conduct demonstrations for end-users and assist during User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
Required Skills and Experience
  • Bachelor's degree from a recognized institution in Information Technology or Business Administration, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Several years of experience as a Business Functional Analyst, with a background in Risk or Stress Testing being advantageous.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify issues and independently seek solutions while facilitating their implementation.
  • Familiarity with Agile software development methodologies, particularly SAFE Agile, along with knowledge of JIRA and Confluence.
  • Experience in writing and executing SQL queries, with a technical background in Java, Scala Spark, Python, or SAS being desirable.
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of engaging with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Proficiency in English, with German being a plus.
