Position Overview:
The role is designed to enhance ongoing improvements and ensure adherence to all certification standards across the region by:
- Translating Certification Standards: Simplifying certification requirements into clear business language to assist process owners and relevant business partners, particularly in Circular Economy & Sustainability (CE&S).
- Document Control Management: Overseeing the review of documented information (Level 1 and 2 documents) to prevent the usage of outdated materials. Ensuring governance of records control to maintain compliance with retention policies.
- Process Improvement Collaboration: Partnering with process owners to facilitate enhancements by coordinating and executing defined modifications. Suggesting process adjustments based on identified nonconformities, customer expectations, and performance metrics.
- Change Management Coordination: Managing and communicating changes to processes that may affect certifications.
- Local Initiative Support: Addressing local requests for new initiatives and needs to achieve results by guiding the development of pertinent processes and documentation.
- Quality Harmonization: Promoting the standardization and simplification of quality and certification requirements across regional sites while acknowledging necessary variations.
- Global Quality Advocacy: Acting as a representative and supporter of Global Quality initiatives within the region.
- Certification Activities Coordination: Overseeing mandatory activities required by certifications, including guiding process owners to ensure necessary information is available for management reviews and managing the nonconformance process to ensure effective resolution.
- Training Provision: Delivering training to both industrial and non-industrial teams on certification standards and quality requirements.
- Onboarding Participation: Engaging in onboarding activities to introduce quality and certification standards.
- Global Management System Coordination: Providing local support for Braskem's Global Management System, ensuring compliance with the Quality Pillar and contributing to the improvement of related documentation.
- Quality Communication: Disseminating relevant quality information as outlined in the communication plan, including the preparation of monthly quality reports and providing quality assurance data during performance meetings.
- External Audit Preparation: Ensuring successful external certification audits by maintaining all certifications in the EU and Asia and serving as the primary contact for certification bodies.
- Improvement Project Leadership: Leading and executing relevant quality improvement projects utilizing continuous improvement methodologies.
- Energy Team Membership: Participating as a member of the local GmbH Energy Team to support ISO 50001 certification efforts.
- Global Quality Assurance Team Participation: Engaging in global initiatives as part of the Global Quality Assurance Team.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent, preferably in chemistry, chemical engineering, or a related scientific field.
- Professional experience in quality management.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience with ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015, and ISO 50001:2015, including knowledge of specific requirements and their application.
- Experience in trend analysis and problem-solving methodologies, including core tools such as FMEA, RCA, and MOC.
- Proficient understanding of statistics.
- Project management experience.
- Experience working with multicultural and multifunctional teams.
- Strong knowledge of MS Office and SAP applications.
- Proficient in German, both written and spoken.
- Conversational proficiency in English.
