Senior PHP Developer

Join MODE Recruitment in our mission to find the best talent for our clients. We are currently looking for a Senior PHP Developer to join our team.

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior PHP Developer to work on implementing new features, maintaining whole architectures, and helping to expand Quality assurance features and continuous integration. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in object-oriented development with PHP and MySQL, as well as experience with modern backend technologies such as Redis, Doctrine, Elastic, and ProxySQL.

Responsibilities
  • Implement new features and maintain existing ones
  • Work on whole architectures, including frontend, backend, caches, and more
  • Help expand Quality assurance features and continuous integration
  • Work with leading technologies and apply Clean Code and TDD/BDD principles
Requirements
  • 3+ years' experience as a PHP Developer (Middle and Senior)
  • Very good knowledge of object-oriented development with PHP and MySQL
  • Modern backend combination MySQL, Redis, Doctrine, Elastic, and ProxySQL
  • Frameworks such as Zend, Laminas, Mezzio, and Symfony
  • Experience with frontend stack (React or Vue)
  • AWS/GCP is advantageous but not essential
  • DevOps mindset. Docker, Kubernetes, or similar containers advantageous. Previous knowledge of Linux beneficial
  • Good English or German skills
